Gatherings
We gather the first, third, and fourth
Sundays from 9 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. at the Darien Park
District Community Center, 7301 Fairview Avenue ( just north of the
intersection of Fairview and 75th street in Darien.)
Our gathering on the second Sunday of each month begins at 5 p.m.
for dinner followed by a time of worship, teaching, and the sharing
of stories. This is done at various locations with a growing
network of diverse churches in both the suburbs and city.
Dress at all of our gatherings is very casual and a light breakfast
is available at morning gatherings.

Join the SLCC
gathering on Sunday, January 22, 29, & February 5 at 9 a.m. for a
three part message discussion on the temptations Jesus faced to
abuse power economically, religiously, and politically and how those
temptations are faced by all of us in our culture today. We gather
at the Darien Park District Community Center in Darien.

TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD...
It
has always been my desire to see this book used to further the
great need for clean water in Africa via Team World Vision and
the broader World Vision projects there. So, I am entering an
agreement with the publisher, Creation House, to purchase
several hundred books in advance. Depending on the funds I
raise, the cost for 1,500 to 7,500 advance purchased books will
be $10,000 - $15,000 (the more books I pre-purchase the
cheaper each one is). But once that cost is covered every book
is clear and free and is able to be sold at $10 each with every
dollar going to Team World Vision clean water wells in Africa.
This could potentially result in thousands of dollars of
donations and a number of wells being given to the people of
Kenya - literally changing thousands upon thousands of lives for
years to come! I
want to humbly ask to join me in this global, life-changing,
world-affecting vision. Are you willing to commit $500, $200,
$100, $50, $25 or more to this book vision?
